Job Description

About the Role As a Senior Process Engineering Manager, you will spearhead technical strategy and operational excellence within a dynamic chemical manufacturing environment. You will lead cross-functional teams to drive process optimization, implement advanced automation, and ensure rigorous safety standards while bridging the gap between R&D innovation and full-scale production. Responsibilities Direct the plant's Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) systems to ensure total regulatory compliance and operational integrity. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing energy efficiency, raw material utilization, and overall production yield. Lead the Process Controls and Modeling group to modernize infrastructure and integrate cutting-edge automation technologies. Collaborate with R&D teams to facilitate the seamless scale-up of new product lines from laboratory trials to commercial manufacturing. Provide high-level technical troubleshooting support to production units to resolve complex operational bottlenecks. Oversee the qualification of alternative raw material sources to strengthen supply chain security and optimize cost structures. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. 5+ years of experience in plant-level technical support and process efficiency improvement. 3+ years of experience leading complex engineering or R&D projects. Demonstrated ability to manage technical staff and cross-functional teams. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferred Skills Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. Deep technical expertise in polymer manufacturing and solution polymerization technologies. Strong understanding of chemical industry market dynamics and product lifecycles. Proven track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.
