6-7 months (Potential Extension) About the Role This role supports API manufacturing and process improvement initiatives within a pharmaceutical environment. The Process Engineer will work hands-on on the production floor, focusing on validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities
  • Support API manufacturing operations and special projects
  • Execute validation protocols including IQ/OQ for automation systems
  • Drive yield improvements and optimize cycle times
  • Support investigations and troubleshoot process issues
  • Perform continued process verification activities
  • Work with automation systems and validate HMI interfaces (FactoryTalk preferred)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on manufacturing and engineering initiatives Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in API manufacturing within a GMP environment
  • Experience executing validation protocols (IQ/OQ)
  • Familiarity with automation systems and HMI validation
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk Automation
  • Experience with yield improvement and cycle time optimization
  • Experience working on manufacturing floor in fast-paced environments Salary The hourly rate for this position is $40 - $48 per hour (DOE) Benefits This is a contract position and does not include employer-provided benefits.
