Job Description

job summary: Seeking an experienced Process Engineer to serve as technical leader and backup Engineering Manager for internal US terminal operations. This role is the critical link between Sales team and Operations, ensuring that new business opportunities are technically viable, safe, and cost effective. Extensive knowledge of chemical properties, proficiency in process modeling using spreadsheets and a proven ability to endorse final designs is highly desired.

Seabrook, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $130,000 - 140,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Conduct initial technical assessments for new sales opportunities, including developing cost and schedule estimates and participating in hazard reviews for new customer outfittingsProvide expert analysis on fluid systems (pressure drops), heat transfer, vapor concentrations, and utility system optimization (chillers, carbon scrubbers, and nitrogen)Serve as internal SME to investigate incidents, resolve technical issues in the field, and ensure utility systems are running at peak efficiencyMaintain status trackers for tank and marine jetty outfittings and lead long-term optimization projects for vapor return lines and terminal logisticsAct as a backup to the Engineering Manager, reviewing the work of outside contractors and mentoring junior staff to improve engineering productivity and quality #LI-QM1 qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 5 years of experience
