Position Summary Storagenergy Technologies is seeking a hands-on Chemical Engineer to support the development and scale-up of advanced energy and electrochemical technologies. The successful candidate will develop chemical formulations, manufacturing processes, and experimental methods for advanced materials and devices. This position requires close collaboration with scientists, materials engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing personnel. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize material formulations and chemical processing methods. Conduct mixing, coating, casting, curing, drying, infiltration, and assembly experiments. Evaluate relationships among composition, processing conditions, material properties, and device performance. Design and execute experiments to improve process repeatability, quality, and manufacturability. Support scale-up from laboratory processes to prototype manufacturing. Troubleshoot chemical compatibility, adhesion, moisture control, dimensional stability, and process consistency. Prepare standard operating procedures, process specifications, laboratory records, and technical reports. Assist with equipment selection, installation, operation, and maintenance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal and external technical teams. Support project milestones, technical reviews, and prototype delivery activities. Qualifications B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant industrial, academic, or national-laboratory experience preferred. Experience with chemical formulations, coatings, polymers, electrochemical materials, membranes, or advanced manufacturing is desirable. Familiarity with slurry processing, rheology, mixing, drying, curing, or coating methods is preferred. Strong experimental, analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience working on government-funded research and development programs is a plus. Analyze data using data analytics techniques to identify process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and enhance performance metrics. Apply principles of process engineering and chemical engineering to scale laboratory innovations into manufacturable solutions. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement lean manufacturing practices that optimize production workflows and reduce waste. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated process control systems. Prepare detailed technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, safety protocols, and validation reports. Stay current with emerging trends in quantum engineering, chemistry, and renewable energy technologies to inform research directions. Experience Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred. Proven experience in chemical process design within the manufacturing or energy sectors. Strong background in chemistry, manufacturing & controls (CMC), with familiarity in laboratory settings and pilot plant operations. Demonstrated project management skills with experience managing complex projects from conception through execution. Proficiency in Auto

software, and data analytics tools for process modeling and analysis. Hands-on laboratory experience with chemical analysis techniques and process validation under CGMP standards. Knowledge of FDA regulations applicable to energy-related chemical products or processes is a plus. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Strong math skills combined with a solid understanding of quantum engineering concepts relevant to advanced energy systems.
