Full Job Description Position Description:
What You'll Do Senior Technical Leadership Provide SME-level instrumentation engineering for complex capital and maintenance projects. Work independently with minimal guidance while leading others in technical excellence and project delivery. Project Management Develop and establish project scope for all phases, coordinate with teams to develop complex schedules, and oversee engineering budgets. Lead front-end project development and guide designers and junior engineers through detailed design phases. Quality Excellence Perform quality checks on your own work and team members', ensure adherence to Project Services Quality System, and oversee small teams of engineers and designers. Take ultimate responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and quality deliverables.
What You Bring Must-Have Qualifications Education:
B.S. in
Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or Control Systems Engineering Experience:
8-25 years in oil and gas or related industry
Technical Skills:
Complex P&ID development, advanced instrumentation design, PSV specification
Software:
Advanced Microsoft Applications, INtools, programming experience
Certifications:
P.E. in Control Systems Engineering strongly preferred, ISA/TUV Functional Safety certification Essential Requirements Extensive front-end project development experience (FEL 1-2) Advanced Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) knowledge Analyzer specification and installation design capabilities Team leadership and mentoring abilities Process Hazard Assessment (PHA) and LOPA participation experience What We Offer Senior Leadership Lead complex engineering projects while mentoring the next generation of control systems engineers. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to sit/stand, type, and perform computer work for long periods of time. Frequent use of hands/fingers for computer entry and answering calls. Able to perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching. Must be able to lift 15 lbs if necessary. Visual acuity sufficient for reading documents, computer screens, and technical materials. Ability to communicate effectively verbally in-person, by phone, and via video conferencing. Hearing ability adequate for meetings, presentations, and collaboration. Ability to concentrate and maintain attention for extended periods while managing multiple priorities. Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as business needs require. Able to travel to job sites (local and/or remote) as project needs require. Able to work in heavy industrial environments while wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, fire-retardant clothing, gloves, etc.). Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on elevated surfaces. Able to walk on uneven terrain and surfaces. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and industrial environments during site visits.
