Job Description
CNC Engineering Technician supporting production and engineering operations through process improvement, tooling design, documentation, and CNC manufacturing support.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct time studies on production processes Design holding fixtures, gauging, and tooling Support new tooling trials Create documentation for new layouts Drive process improvement activities on and off the production floor Support CNC-related manufacturing processes Process approved card changes Process ECO and ECR documentation Train co-workers on applicable processes and procedures Perform other assigned engineering and production support duties MaintainISO 9001
2008 certification standardsJob Requirements:
CNC process knowledge Experience with tooling, fixtures, and gauging design Tool and die experience Experience with ECO and ECR processing General knowledge of quality systems Experience supporting production floor engineering functionsPreferred Skills:
Experience conducting time studies Experience with new tooling trials Experience documenting layouts and engineering changes Experience maintainingISO 9001
