We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead our technical evaluation and compliance initiatives. As a key technical liaison, you will collaborate with senior management, cross-functional business units, and external clients to align engineering excellence with global business goals. Head the review and approval of complex technical documents, specifications, engineering calculations, and test reports to ensure total alignment with regulatory, ANSI, and organizational standards. Manage & Execute:
Drive complex engineering projects from inception to completion—managing timelines, budgets, resources, and business objectives. Collaborate & Consult:
Act as the premier technical liaison for senior leadership and clients during the application and quoting process, translating technical needs into actionable goals. Analyze & Report:
Author comprehensive evaluation reports and product listings that officially document conformance to industry codes. Champion the Brand:
Represent the organization at major national industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build strategic relationships and promote program growth. Team & Support:
Work dynamically as both an independent leader and a collaborative team player, supporting Vice Presidents and Directors on high-priority organizational initiatives. What We're Looking For (Qualifications) Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or a related field). A Master's degree is highly preferred. Experience:
5-7+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in the engineering field, with a solid grounding in the construction materials industry. Credentials:
EIT registration is required. A Professional Engineer ( PE ) License is strongly preferred. Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of model codes, standards, evaluation criteria, and quality management systems. Proven familiarity with testing, certification, and inspection assessment principles. Skills:
Mastery of technical writing, sharp analytical problem-solving skills, and a high proficiency in standard business software (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Work Environment & Physical Demands A primary base in a climate-controlled office environment, with occasional outdoor exposure depending on project needs. High cognitive engagement:
