Job Description
McCrory and Williams, Inc is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Mobile, AL office to support on-going projects and work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering, more concentrated in potable water and sanitary sewer systems and municipal infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
This individual will work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including grading, roadway, storm water management systems, water and sanitary sewer, sites, and erosion and sediment control design. The job may also require estimating, reporting, conducting permit and specification research, writing specifications, preparing plans and contract bid documents, meeting with Clients and/or Municipal Entities/Regulatory Agencies and preparing permit applications for submittal.Minimum Required Skills and Experience:
B.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited program required. Previous experience preferred of 4+ years in municipal infrastructure consulting and construction engineering. Strong oral and written communication skills. Desire and ability to work in a team environment. Professional Engineering License preferred or a commitment to obtain Professional Engineering License. Self-motivated, a sense of urgency, organized, versatile, and a strong desire/ability to work as a team to grow a small office. Working knowledge of Word/Excel, AutoCAD / Civil 3D, Esri GIS, StormCAD and HydroCAD. Experience with water resources/water distribution systems/sanitary sewer collection systems preferred. Ability to efficiently perform on fast-tracked municipal infrastructure projects as needed. Ability to conduct site visits and field inspections as needed.Job Type:
