Project Engineer

Talascend is currently seeking a Project Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Mobile, Alabama . Overview The Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting project planning, design, and execution for a variety of civil engineering projects. This position involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards and quality requirements. Responsibilities Assist in the planning, design, and execution of site development civil engineering projects including industrial, residential, multi-family, commercial and multi-use projects. Provide CAD, design, and engineering calculation support to project managers during all phases of the project, including site planning, grading and utility design, erosion control design, hydrology reports and construction phase review services. Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, calculations, and reports. Coordinate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project approvals and permits are obtained. Support project documentation and submittals. Ensure adherence to company standards and industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology preferred; equivalent experience in land development engineering will also be considered. 2+ years of civil engineering or project engineering experience (internships may be considered). Requirements Strong knowledge of civil engineering design, construction methods, and project management principles. Proficiency with engineering software AutoCAD Civil 3D (required). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. We thank all applicants for their interest.
