$60-85 / hour Job Description Sirius Staffing is seeking a Mid to Senior Civil/Structural Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity based in Mobile, AL. Contact us today for more information. This role supports industrial design engineering within an EPCM environment and requires the ability to work both remotely and on-site in Mobile. Travel to Greenville, SC, and other EPCM locations is required as needed for project support, following the client's travel policy.Pay Rate:
$60-$80/hour (Based on Experience)Schedule:
40 hours/week; OT may be required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in design engineering within the industrial sector Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure Prior experience as a Project Manager on single-discipline projects Prior experience as a CSA lead on major capital projects Responsibilities Supervise engineering staff on industrial projects ranging from small to large capital size Assemble and review bid packages for civil/structural work scopes Produce estimate-level preliminary designs and material take-offs appropriate to the project estimate level Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine the most efficient engineering approach Perform field work to gather relevant project data and provide construction support as required Check calculations performed by other engineers for code conformance, specification compliance, and sound engineering practice Independently apply knowledge to develop and continuously improve the CSA department quality program; establish related processes, provide guidance, and support continuous improvement and change management efforts Technical Requirements Proficiency with applicable engineering codes, including IBC, AISC, ASCE, and ACI Experience with civil/structural analysis software; RISA 3D and RISA Foundation preferred Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
