This position works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong organizational skills with technical construction knowledge and wants to take ownership of project coordination responsibilities while growing into larger leadership opportunities. Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers with daily project operations and coordination Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, procurement logs, change orders, permits, correspondence, and closeout packages Maintain accurate and organized document control systems across multiple projects Review drawings and specifications and assist with construction document management Coordinate subcontractor and vendor communications Assist with project scheduling and CPM schedule updates Participate in pre-bid meetings, job walks, preconstruction meetings, and project progress meetings Support field operations and help resolve project issues proactively Assemble project closeout documentation including as-builts, warranties, O&M manuals, and punch lists Assist with Blue Stake coordination and utility-related project support Help ensure projects maintain company standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field Minimum 3 years of construction industry experience Experience supporting commercial, electrical, civil, utility, or infrastructure projects preferred Working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and project workflows Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software such as Procore Strong communication and relationship-building skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment Self-motivated team player with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability Compensation & Benefits AJP Electric offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support our employees and their families, including: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Profit Sharing Plan Paid Vacation Paid Sick Time Paid Holidays Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and industry expertise.
