Job Description
Structural Engineer supporting analysis and design of steel and concrete structures for industrial facility projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform conventional structural engineering analysis and design work under general supervision Develop and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for assigned work Support lateral analysis and design for wind and seismic systems in accordance with building code requirements Perform calculation checks of other engineers' work Manage assigned workload to meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements Take ownership of assigned structural scope Check completed work for accuracy and quality control Coordinate with peers and senior engineers to resolve technical questions and confirm design directionJob Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering Engineer in Training (EIT) certification Minimum 2 years of structural engineering experience Experience with U.S. building codes includingIBC, ASCE
7, ACI, and AISC Experience with structural engineering analysis software Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures Experience in semiconductor industrial or general industrial facilitiesPreferred Skills:
Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering or Master of Science inStructural Engineering Pay Details:
