ARCHITECT/ENGINEER

(ACCELERATED HIRE) is located in the Civil Engineering Squadron at an Air National Guard Wingand is part of the California Air Force National Guard. This position is an interdisciplinary position. The title of Architect, General Engineer, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer and occupational series is assigned depending on the qualifications of the incumbent selected to fill the position.

Qualifications:

ARCHITECT/ENGINEER

(ACCELERATED HIRE), GS-0810-12: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-11 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: experience, education, or training for management, supervision, or performance of planning, designing, construction, and/or maintaining structures and facilities; and investigating, measuring, surveying, and mapping the earth's physical features.
