This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of structural design, contribute to complex engineering challenges, and work directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to develop innovative and efficient structural systems. Key Responsibilities Structural Design and Analysis Design and analyze structures using concrete, steel, wood, masonry, mass timber, cold-formed steel, and specialty materials such as fiber-reinforced polymers Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications in accordance with building codes and industry standards Contribute to prefabricated and modular construction solutions Project Execution and Coordination Support and lead project delivery from concept through construction Coordinate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals to ensure design intent is maintained Client Interaction Participate in client meetings and presentations Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and technical expertise Construction Support and Site Work Conduct site visits and field observations Provide solutions to field conditions and construction challenges Innovation and Continuous Improvement Develop creative and efficient solutions for complex engineering problems Contribute to internal standards, workflows, and evolving best practices Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Master's degree preferred Strong understanding of structural systems and building design Experience with design software such as ETABS, RISA, Enercalc, RAM, or similar Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam for drafting and coordination Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience Levels Early-Career Engineer (0-5 Years) 0 to 5 years of experience EIT preferred Exposure to building design and construction documentation Strong desire to grow toward professional licensure Mid-Level Project Engineer (5-10 Years) 5 to 10 years of experience PE license preferred, SE a plus Ability to independently manage design tasks and project components Experience mentoring junior staff and interfacing with clients What Sets This Opportunity Apart Exposure to a broad range of project types and structural systems Opportunity to work on technically challenging and design-driven projects Clear path for growth into project management or technical leadership Collaborative, high-performing team environment that values ownership and initiative Compensation and Benefits This firm offers a competitive and performance-driven compensation package designed to reward both individual contribution and long-term growth: Semi-annual bonus structure tied to performance and project success Tax-deferred profit sharing , allowing employees to directly benefit from firm performance 100 percent employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees Overtime pay , providing additional earning potential beyond base compensation 401(k) program to support long-term financial planning Paid professional development , including seminars, licensing support, and professional organization memberships
