We currently have an immediate opening for an in-person Project Engineer to join our team. Candidates for Project Engineer should have strong technical abilities, experience in land development project design and the ability to assist in leading a team of engineers.

Responsibilities:
Apply established engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to address engineering challenges and develop construction documents. Engage in project design and development, spanning grading, stormwater treatment, and utility systems, from initial planning to construction phases. Create specifications, conduct research investigations, and prepare comprehensive reports. Plan, coordinate, and manage specific technical phases within major projects or across multiple moderately scoped projects. Foster effective collaboration with design teams, consultants, and regulatory authorities. Monitor and oversee approvals from agencies, additional service requests, and contract approvals. Provide expert recommendations for optimizing site plans and layouts to meet requirements. Conduct thorough project reviews, including designs by external parties, prior to QA/QC evaluation. Lead, mentor, and delegate tasks to Design Engineers and AutoCAD Technicians.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Over 4 years of experience in project design, particularly within Land Development Design Professional Engineer license (PE), or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) actively pursuing PE certification Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology modeling software, and storm drainage programs. Strong grasp of precise grading, utility planning, and stormwater management. Skill in resolving grading challenges and optimizing earthwork balance when necessary Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and prioritize effectively Hanna & Brunetti offers an unparalleled working environment that strives to offer professional growth opportunities while promoting healthy personal time.
