Skymaster, Inc. is a leading provider of façade access and window washing systems, specializing in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of davits, pedestals, tie-backs, horizontal lifelines (HLL), and related building facade access equipment for new and existing construction projects (high-rise, mid-rise, low-rise building) and complex structures throughout California. We work closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to deliver code compliant, practical, and feasible access solutions. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Engineer to support the design, engineering, and coordination of façade access and fall-protection systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys real-world projects, hands-on coordination, and seeing designs go from concept to installation. Key Responsibilities Design and review façade access systems including davits, pedestals, tie-backs, and HLL supports, platforms/swing stages, etc. Prepare and review engineering calculations, load paths, and anchorage designs Develop and review shop drawings and fabrication details Coordinate with architects, engineers of record, contractors, and inspectors Support submittals, RFIs, and construction clarifications Assist with load testing documentation and compliance verification Ensure systems comply with CAL-OSHA, OSHA, ANSI/ASME, and project specifications Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Structural, Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering 3+ years of relevant engineering experience (façade access, structural steel, or similar, electromechanical equipment) Familiarity with
CAL-OSHA
