Civil Engineer

Description Utilize AutoCAD/ Civil 3D to create solid waste engineering design and permitting plans (landfills, transfer stations and recycling facilities) Create full set engineering plans, including grading, landfill gas collection systems, landfill cell construction, infrastructure construction, storm water management, earthwork, erosion control and etc. Conduct occasional site visits and prepare CQA reports Provide technical oversite to junior engineers Work on a variety of projects from start to finish Skills Autocad, landfill, solid waste, landfill gas, landfill gas design, Civil 3d, Environmental compliance, Environmental engineering, grading, earthworks, quality control, Civil engineering, Project management, solid waste management, site layout, Design, autocad civil 3d, osha 40 hour, 40 hour osha certificate, Remediation, Water main, Sanitary sewer, Water & wastewater Top Skills Details Autocad,landfill,solid waste,landfill gas,landfill gas design Additional Skills & Qualifications BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field 3-5 years of landfill gas design experience Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (must be able to put together a site plan drawing) Valid drivers license and reliable means of transportation Ability to conduct site visits and experience with CQA Strong communication skills and attention to details Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
