This bond-eligible role is exclusively focused on capital construction, modernization, and sustainability projects under the BuildLACCD Bond Program — helping transform campuses across one of the largest community college districts in the nation. What you'll do Provide technical and engineering support to PMO Project and Construction Managers Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with plans, specs, and DSA requirements Review, negotiate, and process construction change orders and field orders Coordinate with architects, contractors, engineers, and College Project Teams (CPTs) Assess project risks and develop risk registers with mitigation strategies Prepare Scope of Work documents, Proposed Board Actions (PBAs), and status reports Manage submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and project documentation Sustainability focus areas Energy Information Systems (EIS)

  • EV Charging Stations (EVCS) Minimum qualifications 7+ years of professional experience in construction engineering or a similar role BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (4 additional years of qualifying experience may substitute for the degree) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage workload independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred qualifications Experience on educational or DSA-regulated projects Full project lifecycle experience: master planning through closeout PE license, CCM credential, or equivalent professional certification Hands-on experience with sustainability project types listed above Why Francison Consulting, Inc.

Pay:
$138,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
