Building Engineer Commercial Property Operations

Global Equity Finance We are looking for a hands-on, reliable, and highly organized Building Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our commercial office property located at 7310 Miramar Road. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, solves problems quickly, and can keep a fast-paced office environment operating smoothly and professionally. What You'll Be Responsible For Managing the daily operations and maintenance of the building Coordinating and overseeing vendors, contractors, and repair work Performing routine inspections to ensure the property is clean, safe, and fully operational Handling HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical, and basic building systems troubleshooting Responding quickly to maintenance requests and operational issues Maintaining building appearance inside and outside the property Assisting with office build-outs, furniture moves, and operational projects Monitoring preventative maintenance schedules and compliance requirements Helping create efficient systems for ongoing building operations Managing inventory for maintenance and facility supplies Supporting leadership with operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives Qualifications Experience as a Building Engineer, Facilities Manager, Property Engineer, or similar role Strong general knowledge of commercial building systems Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently Experience managing vendors and contractors Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical certifications are a plus What We're Looking For We want someone who: Takes pride in ownership of a property Doesn't wait to be told what needs fixing Can balance professionalism with urgency Wants to help improve and streamline operations Can keep a commercial office environment running at a high level every day Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for long-term growth Stable full-time position in a growing company environment To Apply Please send your resume along with a brief summary of your experience managing commercial buildings or facilities operations.
