Overview Reports to the Project Manager and assist with the Construction Management services over a ground-up public sector capital project in the Essential Services market sector. Duties and Responsibilities Provides project support with the construction documentation process which includes RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders, Schedules, and Warranties/Operations/Maintenance manuals Participate in As-Built documentation processes while in construction and at Closeout Assist with all DSA documentation during construction in preparation for Closeout/Certification Assist with verbal and written communications to the District, Architects, and Contractors Maintain project documents through completion and certification Participate in coordination of project meetings and prepare and distribute meeting minutes Assist with performing change order analysis Assist with project Punchlist development, tracking, and resolution Assist the Project Manager/Construction Manager with preparing project reports Perform other duties as required to ensure project success Experience and Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture is preferred 2 or more years of experience assisting Construction/Project Managers on construction project is required Experience in the Community College market sector in California is strongly preferred Knowledge and Skills Strong verbal, writing, and computer skills are required Ability to perform construction quantity take-offs and assist with Change Order evaluations required Proficient user skills with the MS Suite of tools and Bluebeam are required Working knowledge of standard industry tools such as P6 and Procore is strongly preferred Knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, general construction principles, techniques, and site safety is strongly preferred License and Certifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record, free from suspensions or restrictions, is required Travel Requirements This position is site specific and will be executed at the project location in South San Francisco, CA. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly work in an office and or construction environment. Conditions regularly include exposure to outdoor elements, hot/cold temperatures, wet conditions, noise, atmospheric conditions, and cramped quarters. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly sit, stand, walk, talk or hear and use hands to finger, feel and handle; frequently reach with hands and arms; occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must frequently lift and or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.

The annual base salary range for this role is currently $85,000 - $98,000. The Company's salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members. The annual base salary range listed here is subject to change at any time, in the Company's discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
