Job Description

PROJECT ENGINEER
Youngdahl Consulting Group, Inc., located in El Dorado Hills, California, is seeking qualified personnel for the position of Project Engineer . Youngdahl is a full-service geotechnical consulting firm providing services from conceptual development through project completion on a wide range of projects.
The required qualifications include:
B.S. in Civil Engineering; Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred California PE registration (required, no exceptions) Five plus years' experience in Geotechnical Engineering Five plus years' experience in Project Management of Construction Materials Testing (CMT) projects Strong interpersonal, organizational and written/verbal English communication skills Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment Manage multiple projects and clients Interpret geotechnical, materials and analytical laboratory test data for use in analyses Supervise engineering analyses for geotechnical projects Prepare and review geotechnical reports Interpret laboratory test data for use in engineering analyses Review grading and foundation plans for conformance with recommendations Prepare proposals, scopes of work and budgets for new projects Marketing and administrative duties This role includes some fieldwork. The fieldwork requires working around heavy equipment, documentation of surface and in place soil conditions, and sampling. This includes navigating project sites with uneven terrain and slopes up to 30 degrees and the ability to lift 50lbs to waist level. Pay range $120,000 - $150,000 DOE, with great potential for career growth.
