This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and ownership teams to coordinate project documentation, procurement, scheduling, and day-to-day project operations. Projects may include ground-up multifamily, affordable housing, mixed-use, podium, wrap, urban infill, and residential developments, requiring strong coordination between field and office teams to maintain schedule, quality, and project performance. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a future Project Manager position while gaining exposure across all phases of project delivery. The referenced portfolio emphasizes multifamily and residential construction with integrated project execution and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers in the execution of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Manage and track project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, purchase orders, and project logs. Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to maintain project schedules and workflow. Assist with procurement and tracking of materials, long-lead equipment, and subcontractor deliverables. Support project budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting. Participate in owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, and internal project coordination meetings. Review drawings and specifications to support project execution and identify coordination issues. Assist with schedule updates, milestone tracking, and project reporting. Support project closeout activities including punch lists, turnover documentation, and final owner deliverables. Monitor project progress and help identify solutions to maintain schedule and budget objectives. Collaborate with field leadership to ensure alignment between office planning and field execution. Support constructability reviews and preconstruction coordination activities as needed. Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role with a general contractor. Strong experience supporting ground-up multifamily construction projects required. Experience with podium, wrap, affordable housing, mixed-use, wood-frame, or urban infill developments preferred. Strong understanding of construction processes including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Experience supporting budgets, forecasting, procurement, and project controls preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced construction environments. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Familiarity with preconstruction, value engineering, and constructability reviews. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software. Experience working on projects ranging from 50-300+ units preferred.
