We are currently looking for an experienced Project Engineer. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in construction either as a project engineer, project coordinator, or project assistant and must be able to read plans and blueprints. The position requires exceptional communication skills, detail orientation, the ability to work for multiple individuals with differing personalities on multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires quick-thinking, strong organizational skills, and strong customer service skills. The position provides support to the Project Managers with submittals, closeouts, RFI's, Change Orders, LEED, and other tasks associated with ongoing construction projects.

REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of 3 Years Experience working in construction as a project engineer, project coordinator, or project assistant MUST be able to read basic construction plans Willing to work either in the office and/or at a job site, if necessary Ability to Multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously with a variety of individuals and personalities Strong Computer Skills (Word, Outlook) Must have Exceptional skills in Excel and be able to prepare linked spreadsheets Must be able to use Blue Beam, Hightail, Drop Box or similar software to upload plans to subcontactors Knowledge of Pro-Core software a plus Microsoft Project skills a plus but not required Exceptional organization and planning skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Assist on bid days with pre-qualifying subcontractors prior to bid day, shipping plans, and other similar functions. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Detail orientation and accuracy a requirement.
