Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Engineer located in Santa Ana, CA. The Structural Engineer will perform structural analyses and calculations, assist in creating and reviewing design plans, and ensure compliance with engineering standards. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing software such as CAD to develop technical drawings, and supporting project planning for various types of construction projects. The Structural Engineer will also troubleshoot structural challenges and propose effective, safe solutions as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline 3 to 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering Strong portfolio of completed residential and commercial projects Skill in utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and technology Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication abilities Preferred (Not Required) Experience working in a consulting engineering firm Caisson & light gauge steel framing design experience Ability to manage multiple projects independently PE license is not required for this role Compensation This is a commission-based position. Total annual compensation is performance-driven and typically ranges from $50,000 - $150,000+ annually , depending on workload, project volume, and business development involvement. High performers with strong client networks and consistent project flow can exceed this range.
