Location:
Denver, Colorado Travel Requirement:
This position includes occasional travel to active project locations. Team members should be comfortable spending a few days at a time on-site when project demands require field support.

Full-Time Position Summary The Field Engineer provides operational and technical support to project teams throughout the construction lifecycle. Responsibilities include assisting with field coordination, maintaining project documentation, tracking production activities, supporting quality initiatives, and helping project personnel address challenges encountered during construction. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys a combination of field exposure, technical problem-solving, and project administration. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution Support Partner with project leadership to assist with day-to-day construction activities. Coordinate communication between field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and project management staff. Help facilitate work sequencing and operational planning efforts. Monitor field progress and communicate project updates to appropriate team members. Assist in identifying potential obstacles and participate in developing practical solutions. Technical and Engineering Functions Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to support field operations. Provide clarification regarding construction details and project requirements. Assist with field measurements, layout verification, and quantity tracking. Support maintenance of record drawings and project markups reflecting completed work. Communicate technical information between field teams and project stakeholders. Documentation and Project Controls Maintain organized project records and construction documentation. Track labor hours, equipment utilization, installed quantities, and daily production information. Assist with reporting requirements and project performance monitoring. Document field conditions, project changes, and unforeseen work activities. Support project closeout efforts through collection and organization of required documentation. Materials and Resource Management Verify incoming deliveries and maintain accurate material records. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement needs with project personnel. Assist with quantity calculations and forecasting activities. Help ensure materials and equipment are available to support scheduled operations. Safety and Quality Assurance Promote a strong safety culture by supporting site-specific safety initiatives. Participate in inspections, audits, and corrective action follow-up activities. Assist with documentation associated with safety meetings and compliance efforts. Support quality control processes to verify work meets project standards and specifications. Communicate concerns related to workmanship, safety, or compliance when identified. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may also be considered. Ability and willingness to travel to project locations as required, including occasional overnight stays lasting several days. Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with standard business software and construction-related technology platforms. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Desire to learn, accept responsibility, and grow into increased levels of leadership. Work Environment This position requires a combination of office and field responsibilities. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in active construction environments, navigating changing site conditions, and interacting with personnel at all levels of a project organization.
