Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team and drive the successful estimating and tracking of construction projects in the Subcontractor level. As a Project Engineer, you will coordinate Divisions 6, 8 and 10 spec sections and assist in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your proactive approach and ability to learn will be instrumental in advancing our mission to deliver quality products to our clientele. Duties Assist in submittals, estimating, RFI's in the Door, Frame and Hardware supply industry Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing plans, specifications, and material costs utilizing construction estimating tools. Utilize Bluebeam, Excel and Avaware (DFH Management software) Manage project documentation including Sales Tracking, progress reports, change orders, and procurement tracking. Facilitate communication among project stakeholders by maintaining clear schedules, progress updates, and issue resolution strategies. Skills Knowledge of construction management practices with experience overseeing construction inspection processes. Ability to perform accurate construction estimating based on detailed plans and specifications. Strong work ethic, and reliability.
