About Our Client Our client is a well-established Colorado-based General Contractor with nearly six decades in the market. They deliver a broad mix of multifamily, education, civic, mixed-use, and community-driven projects. Known for stability, integrity, and long-term partnerships, they offer a supportive team environment where you can grow your career. Job Description As the Project Engineer , you will support the Project Manager and Superintendent on active K‑12 projects, ensuring documentation, coordination, and field processes are executed smoothly. Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Support coordination between field teams, design partners, and subcontractors Track project schedules and material deliveries Maintain accurate project logs and reporting Help ensure safety protocols and quality standards are upheld Participate in site walks, progress meetings, and punch list activities Contribute to project closeout documentation and turnover MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant For the Project Engineer we are seeking: At least 2 years of construction experience , ideally on K‑12 or similar institutional projects Strong understanding of commercial construction processes Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to support both field and office operations A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a desire to grow into future leadership roles What's on Offer $70,000 - $90,000 base salary, depending on experience
