Job Description
Denver, CO • Full-time • Land DevelopmentSenior Staff EngineerPrivate, full-service engineering consulting firm We are a nationally recognized, privately held engineering and environmental consulting firm with deep expertise across land development, site/civil, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines. With two new project wins and a growing Denver presence, we are expanding our land development team with a Senior Staff Engineer ready to take the next step in their career.
The roleYou will work within a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team on large-scale, high-profile land development projects. You will be expected to work with increasing independence, contribute technically to project deliverables, and begin stepping into project coordination and junior staff mentorship.
Prepare site/civil engineering plans, reports, and specificattionsSupport permitting and agency coordinationConduct and oversee field investigations and construction observationMentor and review work of junior engineersContribute to client communication and project coordination What we're looking for 4-7 years of experience in site/civil or land development engineeringBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's a plus)PE license obtained or in progressProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or GISStrong understanding of local/state permitting and grading/drainage designExcellent written and verbal communication skills
