Job Description

Structural Project Engineer (Licensed PE) - Denver, COMy client is seeking a talented Structural Project Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to design and manage a diverse portfolio of projects nationwide, working across a wide range of building types and structural systems. The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado with strong technical proficiency, mature engineering judgment, and experience leading components of structural design projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare structural engineering calculations, project documents, and technical reports.

Assist in the supervision, mentorship, and coordination of design engineers and CAD staff.

Provide construction administration services including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and performing site visits as needed.

Make independent engineering decisions using sound, mature professional judgment.

Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of company-wide design standards and best practices.

QualificationsLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Colorado, in good standing.

Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience, primarily in commercial building design.

Demonstrated responsibility for independently executing project assignments, including structural analysis, design, and preparation of engineering documents.

Proficiency with structural engineering software including Revit Structure, RISA, Bentley, and CSI platforms.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information.

Technical proficiency across a variety of structural systems, materials, and building types.

Preferred ExperienceStructural design experience in one or more of the following sectors:
