Month Contract Structural Engineer I:
Up to $48/hr•2+ years of relevant experience
Structural Engineer II:
Up to $57/hr•4 years of relevant experience
Structural Engineer III:
Up to $73/hr•6+ years of experience Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder Design, evaluate, and certify advanced aerospace, defense, aviation, and space system structures Work on metallic and composite structural systems across the full product lifecycle Support development of mission payloads, air vehicles, ground systems, and space exploration technologies Perform Static and/or Dynamic structural analyses Work within multi-disciplinary engineering and design teams Utilize Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and structural analysis tools Support design development, engineering simulations, and substantiation activities
REQUIRED SKILLS
Understanding of engineering principles and structural analysis practices Experience or exposure to Static/Dynamic Analyses Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering teams Familiarity with CAE tools and engineering development environments Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
PREFERRED
Experience with FEA tools such as MSC Patran, Nastran, FEMAP, or ANSYS Ability to perform classical hand calculations Knowledge of mechanical design principles, material selection, manufacturing, and production processes Ability to author substantiation reports Aerospace & Defense industry background preferred
Pay:
$40.00•$73.00 per hour
