Position Summary BEI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) ; however, highly qualified Engineers-in-Training (EITs) with relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will work on a variety of civil engineering projects, including site development, infrastructure improvements, grading and drainage design, utility systems, roadway projects, and construction support services. Responsibilities Prepare civil engineering plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates. Perform site design, grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater management calculations. Coordinate with clients, agencies, contractors, and project team members. Assist with project management, scheduling, and budget tracking. Conduct site visits and field investigations as needed. Review project documents for accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Support permitting and agency approval processes. Provide construction administration and observation services when required. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Valid driver's license. Preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license in [State] or ability to obtain through reciprocity. 3+ years of civil engineering design experience. Experience with land development, municipal infrastructure, transportation, or water resources projects. Familiarity with local, state, and federal permitting requirements.
