- Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee and support multiple building projects from planning through execution.

- Responsibilities
- Perform Contract Compliance, quality control & Field Oversight of subcontractors on the project
- Develop a complete understanding of contract plans and specifications.
- Inspect field conditions to identify problems, inaccuracies, and potential cost-saving measures.
- Take corrective actions as needed to resolve field issues.
- Review subordinates' work for compliance with contract documents; address deficiencies and implement corrective measures.
- Project Scheduling & Coordination
- Develop and maintain the project master schedule using appropriate techniques and scheduling software.
- Collaborate with project management personnel to gather input and ensure schedule accuracy.
- Document Control & Change Management, handle project closeout.
- Manage document control processes including logging and tracking new issue drawings and contract documents.
- Review new issue drawings for changes in conditions; quantify impacts and communicate with supervisor.
- Distribute updated documents to field teams and ensure proper implementation.
- Cost Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Prepare monthly cost projections using data from project management systems.
- Develop quarterly cash flow projections to support financial planning.
- Operational Improvement & Leadership
- Recommend improvements to project operations including staffing, methods, and procedures.
- Serve as managing project engineer/coordinator across multiple projects.
- Provide supervision and on-the-job training for junior engineers and project staff.
- Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5+ years' work experience in construction or engineering, vertical construction is preferred.
- 2+ years' experience managing engineers and project subcontractors
- Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed in the future \#LI-TD28

- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Base Compensation:
