The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, technically strong, and capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Responsibilities Prepare civil engineering plans, reports, calculations, and technical documents Assist with land development, grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and infrastructure design Coordinate with project managers, engineers, surveyors, and clients Support permitting and agency coordination efforts Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software Participate in project planning, scheduling, and execution Conduct site visits and field coordination as needed Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines Understanding of civil engineering design principles and construction practices Ability to work independently and within a team environment Preferred Qualifications Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience with: Land Development Drainage Design Stormwater Management Utility Design Roadway/Infrastructure Projects FDOT or municipal projects Familiarity with permitting processes and local agency coordination Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Performance and growth opportunities Health insurance Paid time off Paid holidays 401(k) benefits Professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Work Location Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441 This position is primarily office-based with occasional field/site visits as required by project needs.
