OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Water/Wastewater team as a Sr. Structural Licensed Engineer (PE) to work out of any of our Florida offices to provide technical and design services for structural concrete, steel, aluminum concrete masonry, timber buildings and structures in support of water infrastructure projects (i.e. water and wastewater treatment, water distribution and wastewater collection/pumping).
DURING YOUR WORK DAY, YOU WILL
Perform calculations and develop drawings and technical specifications to support structural engineering analyses and design for foundation, containment, building floor and roof framing assemblies to support various process and equipment layouts. Prepare and edit various types of technical memorandums and reports and develop probable construction cost estimates. Participate in construction administration material and shop drawing submittal reviews. Visit construction sites in support of on-site personnel on request. Must work as part of a project team and coordinate/schedule work with other team members including structural engineers and other discipline leads. Responsible for various tasks on several concurrent projects and independently manage these tasks through to completion within the allocated period of time and the monetary budget assigned.

LL NEED:
BSCE and Masters of Engineering and have successfully passed the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Structural Engineering 16-hour PE Structural examination. Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida. 15+ years of experience in municipal engineering water and wastewater design. Technically competent, a team player and good communications ability required. Must be self-motivated and work independently to complete work assignments. Have proficient knowledge of the 2023 Florida Building Code, Building Eighth Edition, ASCE 7-22, ACI 318-19, ACI 350-20, AISC 303-22, AISC 360-22, TMS 402/602-22. Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle, drug screen and criminal record.
