Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our innovative MXL engineering team, Fort Lauderdale branch. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structural systems for a wide range of projects. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, stability, and sustainability of structures while collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that shape communities and infrastructure worldwide. Duties Develop detailed structural designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software to create accurate drawings and models. Perform structural analysis and system design utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools and Mathcad to evaluate load capacities and material performance. Coordinate project scheduling and manage timelines to ensure timely completion of design phases and construction milestones. Conduct geotechnical engineering assessments and integrate geospatial data through GIS applications to inform foundation and earthwork design. Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and documentation through technical writing to communicate design intent clearly. Oversee project management tasks including resource allocation, progress tracking, and quality control during construction activities. Collaborate with civil engineering teams on system integration, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes while supporting construction efforts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a Master's degree is preferred. PE in the State of Florida a plus Proven experience in structural engineering design, analysis, and drafting using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and CAD tools. Strong knowledge of project management principles including project scheduling and resource coordination. Familiarity with FEA software, Mathcad, GIS applications, and geotechnical engineering concepts. Experience with system design for civil infrastructure projects such as bridges, buildings, or transportation systems. Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, specifications, and documentation. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. $79,783.60 - $96,083.48 per year
