Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to support a Fort Myers hospitality adaptive reuse / refurbishment assignment. These roles will be highly involved in documentation, coordination, procurement tracking, RFIs, submittals, meeting follow-ups, and field communication needed to keep the project moving cleanly. What this role will own Manage and track RFIs, submittals, drawings, meeting minutes, procurement items, and project documentation. Support the PM team with budget updates, change order backup, invoice review, and reporting. Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and field teams to keep information flowing. Assist with finish tracking, long-lead items, closeout documentation, punch lists, and turnover packages. Walk the field regularly to connect documentation with actual jobsite conditions. What strong candidates bring Project Engineer experience on commercial, hospitality, renovation, adaptive-reuse, or interiors work. Strong organization and follow-through across logs, drawings, submittals, RFIs, and meeting action items. Ability to communicate clearly with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and project leadership. Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities and existing-condition discoveries. Detail orientation without losing sight of schedule and field urgency. Why this role matters Project Engineers will keep the project information system clean and moving. On adaptive-reuse hospitality work, documentation speed and accuracy directly affect schedule, cost control, and field productivity.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Do you have experience supporting renovation, adaptive-reuse, hospitality, interiors, or occupied-construction projects where existing conditions required ongoing coordination and rapid information management? Have you regularly coordinated with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and field personnel to track and resolve project documentation, procurement, or construction-related issues? Have you been directly involved in tracking procurement activities, long-lead materials, closeout documentation, punch lists, or project turnover deliverables on a construction project? Are you comfortable spending time in the field on an active construction site to verify conditions, support project coordination, and ensure documentation accurately reflects jobsite progress?
