Position:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Engineer to lead our engineering initiatives, bringing technical expertise, precision, and strategic growth. In this pivotal and senior role, you will oversee complex engineering projects, drive technical excellence, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your leadership will shape the development of our engineering capabilities. Responsibilities:

Lead the engineering design and permitting of land development projects in the office. Must be licensed in Florida as a professional engineer. Manage engineering delivery teams in residential subdivision and commercial site design. As EOR, you will conduct technical review of engineering plans and calculations, and develop junior staff members. Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and technical milestones to ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions Client and project management activities to deliver quality designs and permits. Coordinate with design teams to manage schedules and client expectations. Will have proposal writing and monthly billing responsibilities.

Skills:

Extensive experience in project scheduling, project management, client management and business development. Proficiency with engineering software used in land development including

ADICPR, EPA

net or similar pressure pipe model. Strong background in Land Development engineering for Single Family, Multifamily residential developments, as well as, commercial and industrial developments. Hands-on experience with preparing full engineering plans and supporting calculations. Experience in reviewing plans and calculations prepared by junior engineers and designers. Strong communication skills for technical documentation review, client coordination and staff development. This role demands a proactive leader who combines technical skills with strategic growth.
