Senior Structural Engineer Benefits & Compensation Competitive annual salary ($140,000-$175,000), based on experience and qualifications Vehicle allowance ($1,000/month) Performance bonus opportunities Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage (multiple plan options) 401(k) with company match Company-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability Paid time off and paid holidays Relocation support available Professional development support Inclusive, team-focused environment grounded in mentorship and continuous learning Senior Structural Engineer Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license (must be eligible for Florida registration) 15+ years of structural engineering experience Tenure of at least 2 consecutive years with current employer Demonstrated job stability across prior roles Proficiency in Revit, RISA Suite (Floor, 3D, Foundation), TEDDS, and Microsoft Office Strong communication and collaboration skills U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (legal authorization to work in the U.S.) Senior Structural Engineer Preferred Background & Skills Experience delivering design for Department of Defense (DoD) projects Familiarity with EM-385, UFC, and federal/military building codes Experience mentoring and onboarding engineering staff Senior Structural Engineer Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead and oversee structural design for military and government facilities Perform complex structural analysis and generate calculations Prepare and review detailed construction drawings using Revit, RISA, and TEDDS Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors throughout project lifecycle Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and support all aspects of construction administration Mentor junior team members and uphold design standards and best practices Ensure rigorous compliance with all DoD and federal requirements This is an on-site role, five days per week in Jacksonville, FL, with minimal local travel for site visits.
