Responsible for leading and supporting a variety of traffic engineering projects, from signing and pavement marking design, traffic impact studies and signal design to corridor analyses and safety evaluations; work closely with senior leadership, assist junior staff, and contribute to both technical delivery and client engagement; lead traffic engineering projects including traffic impact analyses, signal timing studies, and operational assessments; generate detailed signing and pavement marking plans; develop and review traffic models using industry-standard tools; utilize VISSIM, GuideSign, AGI32, CORSIM, Synchro, SimTraffic, AutoCAD, MicroStation, HCS, ArcGIS, and design standard manuals to perform duties; prepare technical reports, plans, and presentations for clients, agencies, and stakeholders; responsible for lighting design and lighting analysis reporting; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including planners, roadway engineers, and environmental specialists; ensure compliance with local, state and federal standards and guidelines; assist junior engineers and analysts, providing technical guidance and quality assurance; and support proposal development and client relationship management.

Salary:
$108,313 per year;
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience:
Two (2) years in the position above, as an Associate Traffic Engineer, as a Graduate Engineer, as a Transportation Engineering Intern, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements:
Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: VISSIM, GuideSign, AGI32, CORSIM, Synchro, SimTraffic, AutoCAD, MicroStation, HCS, ArcGIS, and design standard manuals. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
