Prepare design documents for civil systems and construction projects, including land development, transportation, municipal, drainage, water, and sanitary sewer design. Prepare drawings, calculations and civil specifications. Work with engineers, project managers, construction managers and cost estimators to solve problems during the design process. Prepare final design and design development. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards. Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine design specifications. Master's degree in civil engineeirng required.
