Civil Engineer (Environmental) Miami, FL 33186 Full-time Full-time AMBRO is a growing engineering consulting firm. We pride ourselves on handling projects of all scales and complexities throughout South Florida. If you're looking to contribute in a big way to help grow a small company, then you may be a good fit. We are seeking an Environmental Scientist, Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience in environmental assessment, permitting, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review Contamination Assessment Reports, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, and other technical environmental documents. Support environmental compliance programs and permitting activities, including air, water, wastewater, stormwater, and hazardous waste requirements. Review engineering designs, consultant reports, and capital improvement projects for environmental compliance. Develop, maintain, and update environmental management and prevention plans, including SPCC, SWPPP, and Wastewater O&M Plans. Coordinate with clients, project teams, and regulatory agencies to support project execution and compliance objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in environmental assessment, permitting, compliance, or related environmental engineering projects. Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and local utility codes. Ability to review engineering plans and specifications for regulatory and code compliance. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Self-motivated, organized, and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
