Professional Structural Engineer Miami, FL 33125 From $110,000 a year - Full-time From $110,000 a year - Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to lead and coordinate structural engineering projects from conception through completion. In this role, you will apply your expertise in civil and structural engineering, construction processes, and system design to deliver innovative, safe, and cost-effective structural solutions. Your proactive approach will ensure projects are executed efficiently, meeting all technical specifications and client expectations. Responsibilities Develop and oversee project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of all phases from design to construction completion. Conduct structural analysis to evaluate system performance under various loads and conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical engineers, civil engineers, architects and MEP Engineers to integrate system design components seamlessly. Manage project documentation, including technical writing of reports, specifications, and construction procedures. Coordinate with contractors during construction phases to ensure adherence to design standards and quality control measures. Utilize project management tools such as Bluebeam for document review and project tracking to streamline communication across teams. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced certifications in structural engineering are a plus. Proven experience in project engineering within the construction or civil infrastructure sectors. Strong proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, Enercalc, Mecawind, RAM software for design and analysis purposes. Ability to interpret technical drawings, conduct detailed calculations, and produce comprehensive reports. Excellent communication skills for technical writing and coordinating with diverse teams.
