We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and deliver civil engineering projects with a focus on stormwater management. The role is responsible for technical design, project management, regulatory compliance, and client communication to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, design, and delivery of stormwater and civil engineering projects, including ponds and drainage systems. Perform and review hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, computations, and modeling using ICPR and other modeling software to support designs and permit submittals. Prepare and review engineering drawings and details in AutoCAD and other design tools. Develop technical reports, specifications, and permit applications; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources; manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones. Serve as the primary client contact for technical discussions, progress updates, and issue resolution to maintain strong client relations. Implement and oversee QA/QC procedures for designs, calculations, drawings, and reports to ensure accuracy and consistency. Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers and CAD staff; conduct design reviews and support staff development. Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, scopes of work, and technical approach sections. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred) with a focus on water resources or stormwater design. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Minimum 4+ years of relevant civil engineering experience with significant emphasis on stormwater management and design. Demonstrated experience with ICPR and other hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software; strong computational and modeling skills. Proven experience designing ponds, drainage systems, and stormwater control measures. Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and preparing construction documents. Experience preparing technical reports, permit applications, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Strong client relations, communication, and project management skills. Experience implementing QA/QC processes and performing design reviews. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and mentor junior staff.
