Job Description

Solid waste engineering role focused on landfill gas management, environmental compliance, permitting, design support, and solid waste infrastructure projects. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering field 2+ years of solid waste experience Experience with landfill gas management Experience with air compliance Experience with landfill design Experience with permitting AutoCAD or comparable CAD experience Florida regulations experience Engineer in Training (EIT) certification Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing Ability to travel 20% of the time Preferred Skills Experience with landfill projects Experience with compost projects Experience with solid waste management projects Experience with stormwater solutions Experience with industrial wastewater solutions Experience with air quality projects Experience with environmental monitoring Experience supporting construction or operations for solid waste facilities Job Responsibilities Provide engineering and design support for solid waste projects Support landfill, landfill gas, compost, and solid waste management projects Develop engineering solutions related to stormwater, industrial wastewater, air quality, and landfill gas systems Support environmental compliance activities Prepare permitting documents and related engineering support materials Support landfill design activities Support construction and operations activities for solid waste projects Support environmental monitoring activities Use AutoCAD or comparable CAD software for engineering design work Apply Florida regulations to engineering, design, compliance, and permitting work
