In this role, you will play a vital part in designing, analyzing, and managing structural projects across diverse sectors. Your expertise will contribute to creating safe, efficient, and sustainable structures while collaborating closely with project teams, clients, and contractors. Responsibilities Develop detailed structural designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software tools to produce accurate drawings and models. Conduct structural analysis utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software such as Mathcad or similar tools to ensure stability and compliance with safety standards. Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and specifications through clear technical writing that communicates complex concepts effectively. Coordinate project scheduling and management activities to meet deadlines and budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards. Collaborate with civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, and system designers to integrate structural solutions within broader infrastructure projects. Oversee construction phases by providing project engineering support, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring adherence to design specifications. Utilize GIS technology for site analysis and incorporate geotechnical engineering insights into system design processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in project management and project scheduling within structural engineering projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Bluebeam for drafting and document review. Strong understanding of system design principles and construction processes in civil engineering contexts. Experience with FEA software such as Mathcad or equivalent for structural analysis. Knowledge of geotechnical engineering concepts and GIS applications for site assessments. Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, specifications, and project documentation. WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Support structural design and documentation for building renovations, additions, and new facilities.
  • Perform calculations, assist with analysis, and help develop coordinated Revit/BIM models and drawing sets.
  • Collaborate with licensed engineers and design teams to solve framing, detailing, and coordination challenges.
  • Participate in field measurements, existing-condition investigations, and construction-phase support.
  • Help maintain organized project files, calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Grow your software skills, technical confidence, and project awareness through day-to-day mentorship.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • EIT certification preferred; FE-track candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • 0-3 years of internship or professional experience in building design.
  • Working knowledge of Revit/BIM; exposure to RISA-3D, Enercalc, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, curious, coachable, and motivated to build a long-term structural career.
