Assist teams that support customers with the design, installation, commissioning and operation of automation and/or protection systems, both on-site and from SEL offices. Complete assigned work using established procedures and working under immediate supervision. Complete assigned work within agreed upon scope, schedule and budget while focusing on quality and safety. Required Qualifications B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline Self-motivated with continuous desire to learn and find solutions Willing to travel both domestically and internationally a minimum of 75% based on focus area. Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Preferred Qualifications College coursework in electric power and/or controls (power system protection, symmetrical components, programming, control systems) Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate Work experience in electric utilities, industrial plants, communications, computer programming, or construction Focus Area = Commissioning Commissioning = perform commissioning and site acceptance testing in the field, train and assist customers with installation, commissioning and operation of devices. $97,000 — $144,000. Project Engineer II:
$115,000 - $170,000. Project Engineer III:
$136,000 - $201,000. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
