We are seeking an Entry-Level Civil to join our team in Cobb County, GA. This is a full-time, in-office position (five days per week) with no hybrid or remote work option. In this role, you will contribute to municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, supporting both design and field engineering activities while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. What You'll Do As part of our team, you will:
  • Work under the supervision and mentorship of experienced engineers
  • Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, CAD designers, project managers, and leadership
  • Assist in the evaluation, design, coordination, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Prepare engineering deliverables such as: o Plans and specifications o Engineering reports o Cost estimates and quantity take-offs o Construction documents, sketches, models, and drawings
  • Perform civil design tasks related to: o Site development and layout o Stormwater and drainage systems o Grading and erosion/sediment control o Utilities and conveyance piping o Facility/site layouts
  • Assist with design using CADD tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
  • Support development of engineering calculations and technical details
  • Observe and document field and construction activities related to water, sewer pipelines, and stormwater conveyance projects (as needed) What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related field (ABET-accredited) OR Associate degree in drafting/design (CADD) or related program with relevant experience
  • 0-5 years of experience in: o Civil engineering design and/or CADD drafting o 2D/3D CADD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, etc.)
  • Familiarity with: o Water, wastewater, and stormwater systems and design drawings o Industry CAD standards o Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
  • 1-5 years of experience on water/wastewater/stormwater infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with GIS tools, including ArcGIS Pro, is a plus
