Job Description

$34-$38 per hour Atlanta, GA Contract
  • Duration:
    24 Months
  • Job Description:
  • + The Engineer 1 position requires 0-5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree with a focus in Mechanical, Civil or General engineering experience.
+ Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems. + Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications. + Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • + Job responsibilities include creating a safe work environment by putting safety first.
+ Understand the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance. + Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance. + Understanding design practices and work processes, using all software applications used in design. + Understanding industry and client design standards. + Supporting design standard and criteria development for the system. + Supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations. + Estimating material for projects, transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications.
  • Skillsets:
  • + Skillsets and expertise required for this position include introductory engineering knowledge.
+ Basic problem-solving skills, limited discretion making independent decisions based on procedure and review with supervisor. + Basic discipline software knowledge, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff. + Design engineering staff and/or vendors.

  • : + Accredited bachelor's degree with a focus in Mechanical, Civil or General engineering experience.
