$60K-$110K + Benefits We are partnered with a well-established, reputable general contractor based in Florida, known for delivering high-quality commercial construction projects. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support a healthcare project. As a Project Engineer / APM , you will assist the project management team with project coordination, document control, subcontractor communication, schedule tracking, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout to help ensure the project is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to specification. Key Responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination and administration Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, logs, meeting minutes, and closeout documents Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, field teams, owners, architects, engineers, and healthcare representatives Track schedules, procurement, material deliveries, milestones, and project progress Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents Assist with subcontractor coordination, scope review, change orders, cost tracking, and pay applications Support quality control, safety documentation, inspections, testing, punch lists, commissioning, and closeout Help identify and resolve project issues to minimize delays Participate in project meetings and communicate updates, action items, and deadlines clearly Maintain organized project records and ensure compliance with company, contract, safety, and healthcare requirements Requirements:
Experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Field Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, or similar construction role Commercial construction background, ideally with healthcare project experience Understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and project administration Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents Knowledge of construction operations, sequencing, safety, quality control, and project delivery Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment APPLY today for immediate consideration!
