The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities through effective management of building systems. This role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance, HVAC, and electrical systems, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity, etc.) and refurbishments Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when needed Monitor building's HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire suppression systems to ensure they are working efficiently Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs Supervise the maintenance team Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations Responding to emergency situations or breakdowns within the building and organizing swift solutions Estimating costs for repairs, upgrades, and improvements within the building Maintaining records of all maintenance and repair work conducted in the building Qualifications Proven work experience as a Building Engineer or similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems Experience with administrative and management tasks Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly Problem-solving abilities Excellent organizational and leadership skills High school diploma: Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Facility Management will be an advantage Valid Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) will be a plus Join our team as a Building Engineer where your expertise will contribute to maintaining safe, efficient, and comfortable environments for all building occupants.
